A fiat deposit may fail due to one or more of the following reasons:
- The bank you are using to make the deposit is not located in a jurisdiction approved by the relevant regulatory authorities. Please refer to In which countries/regions can banks deposit funds into my HashKey MENA account?
- The deposit is made from a bank account that is not in your name (for example, payments from friends, family, or clients, or payroll transfers from an employer).
- The deposit is made through a third-party service (such as Western Union, Wise, or Stripe). HashKey MENA only accepts direct bank transfers.
- The deposit is made from a joint bank account (for example, an account in the name of "John Smith & Jane Doe"). Deposits from joint accounts will not be accepted.
Please avoid these scenarios and ensure that you follow the correct procedure when depositing fiat currency. If you have further questions regarding fiat deposits, please contact our customer support team at support@mena-cs.hashkey.com.
